The Artists of NoExit

NoExit began organized conventionally. When incorporated, the company was comprised of a governing Board of Directors, an Artistic Director, and a Managing Director. As time has passed, its become increasingly apparent that such appointments are not functional, there is a need to spread responsibilities throughout the company and allow all voices equal say. As the company has grown, two people could no longer handle the managerial and artistic needs of the company and it was decided that a restructuring was in order.


Now, NoExit welcomes the talents of Michael Bachman, Georgeanna Smith, Alyson Mull, and Ryan Mullins; four artists from the Indianapolis community that bring a very diverse skill-set to the company. From writing to directing to lighting, these four now oversee the daily operations of NoExit Performance, Inc. as well as meet with the board to present their artistic visions and aspirations for the company.


Though functioning as a group of collaborating artists, NoExit is currently rewriting the articles of incorporation to officially remove the titles. Until that time, Michael Bachman does function as the Executive Director and Georgeanna Smith as the Artistic Director, as you will see these titles as you venture through the website.
